Minnie is getting well aquainted with the preschool since we go for all the parties. It makes me a little sad how well she blends in with the "big kids". The next step before she can go like a real student is potty training, oof! I sat her on the toilet before bathtime the other night and she acted like it was some kind of joke! The highlight of the party was watching her break up horseplay between some of the older boy siblings that were visiting the school since big school was on break. She ran towards them yelling, "No! No! No!" and successfully dispersed them. Fearless little lass! I've started putting together treats for her Easter basket, it's so exciting for me! One of my favorite parts of being a parent is making magic for her.
officer minnie, breaking up fights. that's hilarious! i too have been having fun getting easter basket stuff for van. i have to keep reminding myself it's not christmas and not to get carried away!
ReplyDeleteI know, so many possibilities it's hard to choose and keep it simple!
DeleteMinnie is amazing. She is all prepped for being a big sister bossing people around. You and Mia are both rookies. We dye eggs and hide them, that's it. Food coloring and vinegar can change white eggs to colored ones kids! There is the magic. Our poor kids are one step away from Jehovah's Witnesses. Take it from me, keep their expectations low. Its easier to start small and build up then go big now and have them at 10 going, "But last year I got a bigger basket!"
ReplyDeleteP.S. I want a pair of Minnie's teal converse for my birthday. Size 5.
Ha! Today on Sid the Science Kid they painted rocks and had a rock hunt, pretty good idea! I'm sure as I have more kids it will be toned down.
DeleteI wanted her converse for myself too, didnt have my size :( I'll look for your size!
